John de Warenne, 6th Earl of Surrey (1231–1304), was a powerful English nobleman, soldier and landowner during the reigns of Henry III and Edward I. A member of the influential de Warenne family, he inherited extensive estates and became involved in the political and military struggles of medieval England. He fought for King Edward I during campaigns in Wales and Scotland and was involved in the English conquest of Wales and the Wars of Scottish Independence. Warenne was married to Alice de Lusignan, half-sister of King Henry III, although the marriage was later annulled.
